Housed in one-time cotton warehouses, there are more than 75 boutiques, galleries, artists' studios, restaurants and pubs located on Savannah’s River Street. You could spend an entire day exploring all that River Street has to offer!

The trolley guides share engaging stories and local insights as you cruise past classic landmarks such as charming city squares, historic River Street, and the bustling City Market. Forsyth Park was established in 1841 and is a beautiful place for a walk or to drink a coffee. There is also a farmers' market here 9am-1pm on Saturday for those coming in early.

Bonaventure Cemetery was developed on the historically significant site of Bonaventure Plantation. The peaceful setting rests on a scenic bluff of the Wilmington River, east of Savannah. The site was purchased for a private cemetery in 1846 and became a public cemetery in 1907. This site has been a tourist destination for more than 150 years due to the old tree-lined roadways, the unique cemetery sculpture and architecture. The entrance to the cemetery is located at 330 Bonaventure Road and is the largest of the municipal cemeteries containing over 100 acres. The cemetery is open to the public daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

There are a number of golf clubs in the area but here is one to get you started! Henderson Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Savannah, Georgia playing up to 6,700 yards. The par 71 layout has all the characteristics of an old southern golf course. Players will find the front nine holes open and rolling like a traditional links course, while the back nine offers tree-lined fairways in a natural setting. Five sets of tees are available to accommodate golfers of all skill levels, and ensure that they have an enjoyable playing experience.
